The Process
You Contact Us If you like what you see, fill out the Contact Form, or give us a call - Office: 770-630-2120. A Project Manager will call you and briefly talk with you about your project. If we think we are a good fit for each other, we will schedule an appointment to get together at your home and look at your project with you. We Meet and Look At Your Project We will review with you what you are looking to have done. We listen very carefully! We typically ask lots of questions and may also present alternative ideas for your consideration. We will take measurements and pictures. If Design help or Plans are needed, or Structural issues are included in the project, we will get you together with our CAD Designer, and we will meet our Licensed Structural Engineer at your home to discuss your project. Designs or Plans, and/or Structural Reports are billed to you, and when they are received, we will begin work on your Proposal. We Present Our Proposal We will meet with you and present our proposal for your project as well as any options you asked us to price. Our proposal will include a general project overview, a detailed scope of work, a timeframe for the work, any allowance items, and any optional items. You Accept Our Proposal We will sign an Agreement (contract) that includes all of the details of the project, a payment schedule and our Two Year Warranty that covers all materials and labor. You will give us a check for the deposit. We will have our insurance company send you a certificate of our insurance. You obtain permission from your Home Owners' Association if required, and if you have not already. We will obtain Building Permits if required. We will also begin scheduling the work and will remain in contact with you through the start date. You will give us a key to your home, and that key will be secured in a Lock Box kept at your home. We Begin Work We will have a pre-construction meeting with our project manager, subcontractors, crews, and meet with our crews on site and walk them through the project. Most projects involve demolition. If your project is inside, we’ll cover all floors and plastic off all work areas. We will get your permission for where to put the dump trailer or dumpster, and we will promptly remove the debris by the end of project. During the Project We usually are at your home Monday through Friday by 9:00 AM, and will not stay past 6:00 PM without your permission. We may ask permission to work on some Saturdays, and that is completely up to you. We will keep you updated as to our progress, and let you know what tasks are to be completed, and what to expect next. Every day before we leave, we will unplug and put away tools, neatly stack materials, and leave the job "broom clean". We Complete the Project We will get your input as the project progresses, so the End of Project Punch list will be very short. We will clean the affected areas "Maid Clean". Upon completion, we will do a walk through with you to make sure you are completely satisfied. We will schedule any touch ups requested in a timely manner. We will not request the final payment until you are completely satisfied. After receiving the final payment, we’ll issue you a warranty certificate, and give you a signed lien waiver upon request. We Will Follow Up! Periodically, you will receive a note or e-mail from us, checking on you and your project, and making sure that you continue to be completely satisfied with our work. |
